Been sitting here at the kitchen table most of the day waiting on the internet people (time frame 7-11am - now 2pm) but it has been fun watching the birds in the back yard. This red-bellied woodpecker likes to grab a bite and take it to the dead tree limb.
I have a Red-bellied at mine too and he varies. Sometimes he eats at the feeder so the other birds don't get in and other times he's off to the nearest tree. I wish I knew how his decision making process works! Great shot.
