Better details enlarged. Went to the Mulberry River - have always found butterflies there - this little Eastern Tailed Blue was the only one I found anywhere! River was low despite rains so not even any kayakers. But this is the closest I've gotten to this little guy.
That's a great shot - I know how tiny they are. It seems to be a poor summer for butterflies here, also. It was hot and sunny today but I only saw one Monarch and nothing else.
Great shot! I'm not sure where the butterflies are but I haven't seen very many here either- in spite of all the colorful plants on my deck right now. I'm wondering if the Cicada population has anything to do with it.
