Finally Some Rain

It was surprising how quickly these leaves perked back up with the first good rain in nearly six weeks. Almost looks like a spring green

Lucky you. That dewy green would be most welcome here right about now. Many of my flowers have died. So far, the shrubs and trees are ok, but there is no rain on the horizon this week at all, and we are still under water restrictions.
