Old faithful still does the meet and greet. Even hopped up to a better branch for his shot. If I don't spot him on the way up the road, he's almost always there on the way back. It's like he spots me and comes to wait.
@jennywren No, this guy is the mockingbird that I've been meeting almost daily on my walks since late summer. I can stand and talk to him and get within 5 feet before he gets a trifle nervous. (Doesn't leave, just moves back a little - guess he needs his space!) Sometimes if I don't see him at his usual bush, I'll stand and talk and shortly he'll show up.
@milaniet thanks. I have looked back and found the mocking bird shots, I missed seeing them before. It's a lovely looking bird. I don't recognise your birds too well.
