Fryar's Hill by milaniet

Fryar's Hill

That's what I always think of when I look at this hill on the west end of town. The house on the top belongs to the Fryar's - He runs his own backhoe service which is the only way the road up there could be done! What a view! The year we moved into the new school I looked out the window and went running to the principal's office to tell him there was a young boy on a bulldozer outside my window (this was the week before school began). Turns out it was the Fryar's 8 year old son - and he was leveling the ground there! He turned out to be in my class and was the most delightful child I've met. Still is! Didn't follow in his dad's footsteps - flying heliocopters - first military - now medical.
Wonderful story to go with your lovely autumn shot.
