March 2003. So long has it been since I was last in Sydney. Only a small stopover on the long trip to Tasmania. Since then, a sign is hanging on my study door: Australia - it's a bloody long way - 16'776 km. I was, however, since then a few more times in Australia, but never again in Sydney (or only in transit at the airport).
