2016-05-22b soldanella

The Soldanella, includes about 15 species of flowering plants native to the European mountains.

When in the mountains finally the snow melts after a long winter, the first flower is usually the Soldanella. Often the tiny flower starts to bloom through the thin snow cover. The melt-through is based on the absorption of solar heat through the dark buds and flower stalks.

Found today on our hike in the snow. This tiny flowers belong to my favorites... Ok, you are right, I have a lot of favorite flowers and plants. I love them all.
this purple colour is wonderful:)
