2016-07-18 Urnersee and Brunnen

Wonderful but strenuous hike on Klewenalp and Seelisberg. This is the view near the end over the Urnersee (part of Lake Lucerne). The village/town in the distance is Brunnen.

This is the real colour of this part of the lake. In summer the Reuss River brings a significant amount of glacier milk (fluvio-glacial water) into the lake, and these suspended rock particles give the lake this bright, turquoise colour. You know reflection of light and so on...
On the top right you see small and big Mythen.
Stunning views Mona, worth the hike I should think!
