Yes it is winter here,… they say. Not really cold for this time of the year though.
The rowers train year-round on the lake, also sailboats we see, and of course the fisherman. But this lonely guy stand-up-paddling long distances back and forth, is a rare sight at this time of the year.
Tried to make a b&w picture with an U-shaped histogram,… but imho those where all boring. So I go with this one, with high contrast, showing an u-shaped valley instead. First picture for my flash-of-red-february.
My husband and kids love SUPs and I believe it's the fastest growing water sport in the world! Nice silhouette and light with the strong dark of the mountain dividing the glistening water from the wispy sky. Very effective.

Another amazing shot of your wonderful lake M. He does not look like he is wearing enough cloths for winter sports, so it "must" be warmer than usual for your winter. I'd love to send some of our snow your way. Or you could just come visit? :D
