Hike on Mount Rigi (1797 m) today. The whole day was overcast and we just got away, when at about four o clock a thunderstorm started.
Mount Rigi is our landmark mountain and a great nature area, with peaks, valleys, forests, alpine meadows and imposing rocky slopes. The Rigi is only a couple of minutes’ drive away from our home (on the north-east shore of the lake (top-right)) and this lake features in a lot of my sunset pictures.
