I knew when starting this month, that it will be hard for me. At the moment it feels like I did colour for so long already. But it is only the second green picture in week two. Tree long weeks to go. ***** Bleep!
gorgeous! i really love how you're approaching this challenge... i am really struggling with it too, and still haven't found a happy spot to make this work...
Your colour shots have all been very beautiful. I especially like this one. You kindly explained how you did the magazine leaves before, thank you. Could you tell me how you are colouring these shots?
@jennywren Hi Jen, nice to see you around. Thanks for your kind comment. About "colouring" the shots. I try to achieve the right colour, already shooting the picture and not in post processing. There I only slightly adapt the tones, so they fit in the whole calendar. Here I had a little light from the left, covered with two different file folders, a yellow and a green on, the directing yellowish green light in the tunnels of the pages. Frome the right, I had natural light from the windows, so the outsie of the pages, stayed in a warm white. The backdrop green where the leaves of a house plant. And the natural bokeh came from sewing pin's with shiny yellow, white and green heads, I sticked in the gaps of the pages at the far end of the brochure. Thats it.
If you are interested: for the next picture in the calendar (turquoise), I made a tutorial. You can find it here. http://365project.org/mona65/2015-plan-b-alb/2018-03-09
