This is such a beautiful shot, it looks so simple but now I know how much skill it requires, I'd fav it more than once if I could!
A few weeks ago I followed the step by step guide you posted to do a sprinkling sugar shot, after many attempts I did it but the result didn't look much like this :)
@inthecloud5 Hi Christine, I'm sorry you haven't had the result you wanted. Let me know, if I can be of any help. (btw, I sometimes need many trial shots, for one that is ok).
@mona65 thank you Mona :) your instruction worked perfectly, the problem was me pouring too much sugar on the cake, which spoilt it and made a really big mess. Eventually I found that sprinkling less sugar was better and got a couple of photos that were ok but by then I had only one scruffy cake and no extra fruit so it wasn't a great composition. I'm going to have another go soon so will hopefully post something on here if it works.
