2019-01-28 how about some refreshment?

Our bigger lakes do not freeze. But this one does, at least with a thin ice layer. It's a kettle pond that was formed thousands of years ago by retreating glaciers and it is only +/- 20 meters deep and it has no drain. This little lake is at the center of many myths, so I do not know, if the ghost of this lake did surface to take a breath or if a mystical creature living on land, dived for a refreshment. Probably it was just a human,...
Great capture and love the story about the magical creature.

If I could spend some time in a hot sauna, then a quick dip would be refreshing!
