The road that leads do our quarter gets a new bridge over the expanded and renewed railway tracks. The three prefabricated bridge pieces, have been delivered yesterday. They came on 3 huge trucks through our little medieval town at evening rush hour. Ment hubby was very late for dinner, as he got stuck behind them, when leaving the highway.
We thought, that probably they build it together at night, and went for an evening walk for a glimpse. But it was all dark. No night shift. So have this little detail of a modern highspeed railway track construction machine, that stayed overnight at the tiny railway station next to the bridge. I was surprised to find a horseshoe attached. Charming detail of a giant colossus.
Great b&w capture. This horseshoe shows that the guardian of this terrible machine has respect and humility for tradition and for his work. You can safely clean with it.
