Today, Mum and I went out to the Logan Central Library where Annette Sims was doing a talk about her books 'Symply Too Good To Be True'... they are her weight-loss recipe books that look at food to be enjoyed and not to be judged. It's where you can cook and eat all the food you want with the smallest amount of fat and salt and sugar content in it! And I've tried these books; they are brilliant... they got me started on my own food-loving ways without loading on the kilos.
She signed my recipe books and was amazed to find that I had the first editions of them... and happy to know they had been used to having a bit of food on them. I got plenty of photos, but this one was the best one. Unfortunately, I didn't get one with her.
And she did her talk at the new Logan Central Library... and just look at that column of books! They were all along the front of the entrance and surrounding the lift out the front! I'll put up a few photos of it over the next few days so you can see what I mean!
