I found this little Stink Bug on a plant near the pool at the front of my unit complex. The moment he saw the camera, he completely freaked out... but didn't do anything stinky.

@bruni actually yes. If they feel threatened - or you touch them - they will let off something that's the equivalent of letting off a bad fart... and if you get their stink on your hands, it's hard to get off them; thus the name.
This little dude must have been too scared to let off his stink mechanism to do anything but run from me! :D
