The clocks went back last night which confused my poor body clock. Hubby and I were both up early so took the dogs for a walk at Lake Puketirini. He has no patience when I have my camera so walked ahead and went all the way round the lake a couple of times. I was slower taking photos as I went and only walked part way round before turning back. It was so calm and the reflections were awesome.
@nickspicsnz -- so ostensibly you could go as often as the lake calls you to come and relax on its banks. Returning to the image, I also appreciate the foreground ripples that seem to underline your presence there.
Hi, my husband @nzkites has been following for a while but I've just discovered you. I was born in Huntly but grew up about 20mins north, near Te Kauwhata, and have been living in the Bay of Plenty now for about 20-something years. Lovely reflections here, I didn't know this lake existed so must visit sometime!
@onewing I know, I look forward to the extra hour every year but always seem to wake up too early to benefit from it :)
@thrumylenz This is Lake Puketirini in Huntly Diane, so not too far away. Go across the bridge, straight over the roundabout and the turning into the car park is on the right a few metres from the roundabout as the road goes round a bend.
