Growing Monarch Butterflies

Happy New Year. I hope 2022 is a healthy, happy year for you all.

It felt like a good omen for the future when we spotted over 20 Monarch butterfly chrysalises in the garden today. Hopefully they'll all hatch successfully. I love the bright gold band on them.

I'm looking forward to a few days away from tomorrow. I'll have only limited wifi if I pop into a cafe for a coffee.

Wow, that is so cool to see that many all at one time. Keep a close eye on them, as they are so neat to watch coming out of the chrysalis.
