There were loads of very large koi in the water but the kingfishers and shags were on the hunt for smaller fish - much easier to swallow I would imagine. Unfortunately I missed the moment he actually put his head in the water to catch the fish. I cropped in quite a lot on these so used Gigapixel to rescale and enlarge them.
