Details

As I was wandering around the historical village I took shots of small details and artefacts with the intention of putting some collages together. In the end I've grouped a lot of shots into just one collage.
One of the most beautiful collages I have ever seen Nick, such brilliant shots in it. I would love to see them more detailed.

This has worked really well Nick. Mine are still in the camera! But I doubt any of mone are as sharp as these. Tripod was definitely the way to go

@yorkshirekiwi I couldn't have taken the indoors pics without a tripod - I'm shaky enough even in bright sunshine, lol!

@brigette Thanks Brigette. For this collage, because there are so many photos in it, I did the basic editing, then squared cropped and saved them as small jpegs in Lightroom. To create the collage I used Photoshop's Automate > Contact Sheet feature. I worked out how many photos I wanted on each row and how many rows I needed. I then manually moved the photos around to get them into similar colours on the same rows. I had to do it a few times to get a layout I liked so it was a bit time consuming. It's quicker when there are fewer pics in the collage. :)

In architecture as well as any type of artwork, it's the details which makes everything pop.
