Hadrian’s Arch by njmom3

Hadrian’s Arch

Hadrian’s Arch in Athens dates from about 130 AD and was said to mark a road from the center of Athens to the eastern side of the city. The buildings visible through the arch are now considered about the start of the old town of Athens. The hill visible is the Acropolis.
