Wine Tasting at Colaneri's

Not my usual sort of shot... but i kind of liked it for its glossiness... hopefully it doesn't look too noisy (ISO 3200)...

Lovely shot, love the warm colours. You seem to be finding yourself in some really dark locations recently! 1/25th at f/5.6 and ISO 3200, I'm amazed you could see the wine!

Have you got a 50mm f/1.8 lens yet? They're very cheap, and would have been perfect for this shot, where you're at 56mm anyway. A fast prime lens like that really opens up your camera's ability to work in extreme low light situations.

@abirkill i do have a nifty fifty... and i had it with me... the difficulty was (a) i was mostly doing "groups of people" shots and needed a wider angle (i have a 17-85 zoom) and (b) i am not handy at switching lenses on the fly :)

and yeah... darkness seems to be coming along with the season
