i am beginning to feel that subway shots are a sign of desperation... something i resort to when all else fails... but i do so like the light and lines... :)
this was processed in lightroom, nik silver fx and then topaz restyle... (i think i'm beginning to overdo that too)
@tabbycat :) well it's really just "Bloor street" station to most of us torontonians... but the i'm pretty sure the recorded announcement says "Bloor Yonge interchange station"... it's at the intersection of Yonge and Bloor (a key intersection here), and it's where you can switch from one line to another on the subway... more info than ya really wanted?
@northy Nope! Small things amuse great minds! ;-) TY! The subway names in Montreal were endlessly fascinating to me! They're not so interesting here in NYC...but very practical!
Great image -- I love these subway shots you take and have thought about trying to emulate them sometime with the L here (our subway). Someday...right now, they've never been worthy of a post -- so keep posting so I can keep studying yours.
I'm such a sucker for this style of shot. For me it's all about the forms, the lines, and the light play too. Nothing to do with the folks that happen to be there. I love your gritty processing and would attend a workshop if you held one, it's something I want to add to my own architectural shots to give them more life.
