It never ceases to amaze me that I seem to bring home more bags of groceries now than when I had the whole family at home! True, we are eating healthier, which means lots of fresh produce that takes more bags, but really, filling the entire back of the car? In all seriousness, I am very thankful that we have a roof over our heads and food on the table. I know in this day and age, that for some, these things are a luxury. So, there are usually a few things that come home and make their way to our church's eccumenical food pantry too.
It is quite amazing how much we actually buy, even though we eat out a lot. Though we have a Son at home yet, and whewn the Grand kids come over, you must have things around.
@digitalrn see Rick, that's the 'problem' for you. You still have a SON at home and boy sons can eat! I remember as my son and his wife were preparing to get married I said to that they would need a mortgage, not for a house but for his food bill! And yes we always have to have little things for the grandkids!
