My goodness! This has been a day full of fun little surprises that have truly lifted my spirits. It began as I left the house to do the food shopping and discovered this beautiful bouquet left by my door by an anonymous neighbor. It came with a note which included a belated welcome (we've been here 8 years now!!) and notes on how the flowers were grown organically. Wow! How sweet! Then I discovered that the plant which I thought was a sunflower, is actually a cone flower (just as happy about that!) and the other plant growing by my garden (unidentified as yet) has these pretty little bell-shaped flowers which can only been seen from underneath. Then, to top it all off, the manager of the McD's gave me a free apple pie because my shopping day treat (a mocha frappe- I'm hopelessly addicted!) wasn't ready when I pulled up to the drive-through window. I just feel so blessed, I can't stop smiling! I hope your day was as nice as mine.
I love how your day went! I am so glad that you photographed it for us! What a beautiful collage! I am such a big fan of purple cone flowers, or echinacea. They are on my camera now, just not uploaded yet. Mine are really just starting to bloom. Thank you for sharing your blessed day, you too have blessed ours!
@roejan@potsbypam Thank you Roe Jan and Pam for your nice comments. Roe Jan- I love doing collages. I have to stop myself or I'd being doing them all the time. But today's events had to be done in a collage- they all belonged together. And yes, Pam, I love these moments of joy.
To be able to appreciate every day happenings and shareing them sure is a blessing. At the end of the day I try to list my five favourite good things/happenings that day.
