When I first glanced through the S challenge list and saw this assignment, I was thinking, "Hmmmm...what do I want to go out and buy!?" But as the day has approached, I began to look at it with a different emphasis- something new TO YOU- not necessarily something new. And then I got together with my friend Debbie this week. "I have something for you!" she exclaimed and she produced three lovely tunics she was no longer wearing. She thought I might like them so she set them aside for me. Needless to say, they were lovely and looked brand new. And now they're mine! I must confess I'm not into fashion. I only buy clothing if I have to. I hate trying stuff on! But Debbie's gift provided me with the perfect subject for today's S. Though these lovely colors, ruffles, beads and brads are not new, they are new TO ME! Better yet, they represent a dear friend who loves me as I am, even if I don't always dress in style.
Well, I think that you're lucky to have such a NICE friend! I feel like you do about clothing. Don't like to shop unless I have to. But these are lovely! Nicely photographed!!

@bruni Thank you so much Bruni! It's actually 3 different tops. The blue one looks good on me and brings out the blue in my eyes. The floral is pretty too. And basic black is always great! I'm truly blessed to have a friend like her- she's great!!
