Taken at Adrian College for the windows challenge (belated posting).
I was playing with the lines and angles on this and liked how deep the colors look due to the stadium lights and the storm clouds overhead (lightning in the distance) which were causing a delay in the game at the time.
@jmj Thank you Jennifer- it's not surprising you find it confusing!! The game we were there to watch was the men's soccer (football everywhere else) game. My son is the coach. The markings you see in white are for (American) football- each number designates a 10 yard increment. The yellow markings over them are for the soccer game. And of course the paw print in the center is the trademark of the team mascot- the bulldog. The football markings are not used in the soccer game (obviously). Some schools combine the fields to save money on care and maintainence. Others use two seperate fields. In US collegiate soccer there are 3 levels called divisions. Division 1 is the top level and often has top of the line playing fields, etc. Christopher's school is Division 3, so although this is a great football field, it is shared with the soccer program as well.
