It's a red letter day! A milestone! A rite of passage! I'm down to my last 100 photos of my 365 Project. I flew past #100 and didn't even realize it. I completely forgot to look for #200. But I've been watching the calendar for this! So here it is- ahhh- the 265th photo. And actually, it is a red letter day for me. I was on the Popular Page for 2 days this week (happy, happy, happy!!) and am a finalist in my first-ever challenge- Tag Challenge 9. When I started 365, I knew I was going to enjoy it, and I thought I had a pretty decent eye for catching photos of beautiful things. I wasn't crazy about my camera because I felt it limited me whereas my old SLR had numerous ways I could work with a subject. BUT, I've sort of changed my mind on that. I'd still like a better camera, but my sweet little point and shoot has forced me to be more creative. And as I've taken the time to learn more about it, I think I've grown as a photographer. Even my ability to "see" the world around me has improved- more than I thought it would. So, it is a red letter day and one also of great humility. Because without my wonderful followers, who are so faithful to take the time to look at my pictures- both the beautiful and the ridiculous- I probably never would have come this far. Thanks to all! Now I'm off to set up the next shot...
@cimes1 Carole you can find the Popular Page by scrolling down the Browse button at the top of the page. Click on popular and that's the Popular Page which comes up. I have no idea as to how a picture gets on there! I think it has to do with views, not so much favs and I've also heard that it has something to do with logirhythms, but I really have no clue as to how a photo gets there!
Thanks, Ann. OK, that looks like my fav pages, which I enjoy viewing from time to time. I collect many and like to sort them so they coordinate, in other words no 2 cats in a row and I try to keep the colors, flowers separate, too. I know I'm weird ;-) Will try to remember to check out PP when I can!
