Vines by olivetreeann

Vines

One last detail shot from the Grand Old Lady. In winter the intricate vines which climb her walls are laid bare. The thickness of this major trunk shows how long they've been able to make their ascent. You can be sure I will not be this close to them in the summer, for I'm fairly certain this is Poison Ivy!

This shot was taken with my digital camera and therefore I separated it from my formal essays on the photos taken with film. I was reviewing all my digital shots last night for a final collage, but I felt this one deserved to stand alone. So tomorrow we will bid a fond farewell to the Lady, but today, we'll take one last peek at one of her more fascinating details.
Very pretty

Well done! It is hard to do this sort of shot without it being too "busy." You have definitely managed it.
