Abstract- Day 4 (Minimal)

From my drive home last Sunday- taken somewhere on Rt. 100 South in Vermont. Yes, another random shot from the front seat of the car while driving (at a very slow speed!). I didn't know what I'd get, but I really like the simplicity of this and how well-balanced the lines and sky are.
I rather like the lines and simplicity in this photo! :)

@potsbypam Thanks Pam- it was one of those random shots that actually worked!

Sometimes the simple ones are the most interesting.

Sometimes I work so hard to edit these out, then I saw an old picture of my hometown and realized what a statement of the time period they are

grows on you the more you look at it.

@digitalrn Thanks Rick! This was a "lucky" shot.
@pandorasecho Thanks Dixie! Well, this one was truly random and I can't remember what I was hoping to get when I took it. But since I was only going about 20 mi. per hr. through the little town where I took it, I'll venture a guess and say it was a steeple. However, even though I didn't get the intended target, I was happy with how intentional this actually looked when I reviewed it. Sometimes you just "luck out" that way!
@wenbow Thanks Wendy! This really was a random capture but I really like it especially as a minimal picture.
@dmariewms Thanks Marie- it does, doesn't it?
@sangwann Thanks Dione!
@cimes1 Thanks Carole!

I like the lines against the lovely blue sky :-)

@vposey Thanks Vickie! I "lucked out" on this one as it was a random shot taken by just holding the camera out and snapping while I was driving very slowly through a small town. I was aiming for a church steeple, but got the abstract instead!

Bev
You find a lot of those around these parts.... You'd think they'd be smart and bury them and avoid major outages in the winter but noooo... They haven't wisened up yet. Love the blue sky.

@prttblues Thanks Bev. I imagine it's more practical for the rest of the year to have them accessible, but I'm no electrician!

@melorac Thanks Carole!
@la_photographic Thanks Laura!

I don't think I could have planned this as nicely as it turned out. That's the fun thing about it.

as minimal as it can get. lovely blue sky and the line patterns are quite engaging.

@summerfield Thanks Vikki! For a truly random shot, I "lucked" out. I was actually aiming for a steeple, but couldn't take my eyes off the road, even at that slow pace!
