Wow- we've been doing this for a week now! And we're back on the indoor/outdoor theme. Last night I decided I wanted to do another outdoor shot this week, but something in the evening. I've always loved the glow of the lights coming through my windows in the evening, so I had a little fun with some processing to feature the lights even more. After the shot, it was time to go in for some tea. A lovely evening for sure!
It just says "home!" esp. that hanging decorative piece in the window....(that circular one, not the leaf!) This shot reminds me of some I took last summer, standing on HOT HUMID nights outside my mom's house when she was so sick and about to pass away. I would go out there to get a break,and the lit windows reminded me of that. Lovely shot!
The first thought that came to my mind was, "Home Sweet Home!" You did a beautiful job capturing the essence of your home. Warm and welcoming. Beautiful night photo, Ann.

I cant believe its been a whole week already i am really enjoying this as it makes me really think about myself and my surroundings! This photo is great ..I love seeing what everyone is posting on the inside and outside days! Great Lighting and pov!
if i'm a weary traveller, i won't hesitate to knock on your door and ask for a glass of water (a piece of nicely buttered bread would be welcome, too! ::D). the glow of lights through the windows is so welcoming. beautiful night shot, ann. i like it.
