I have to laugh at myself because when I posted this last night I could barely keep my eyes open! We'd had such a nice day visiting with friends that I hadn't really shot all that much. So a quick walk around the yard resulted in finding this lovely fern and shooting some of the fronds. This was the most interesting one with some of its missing leaves. So I had intended to post that although I didn't have a lot to choose from, I was pleased with this. I must have erased 4 or 5 sentences after "No such thing!" And finally gave up, turned off the computer and went to bed because nothing was making sense! So now you have "the rest of the story" as they say.
Hey would you like to borrow some of mine..I've way too many to post.
I like what you did with this fern.. say have you ever tried to cool the fern when they are just sprouting..they are delicious.
@cimes1 Thank you Carole! @bruni Thank you Bruni! I haven't tried cooking them, but I did try some that were cooked and I really liked them. They were the Fiddlehead ferns ( which I don't think this is) but I'm going to look it up and see if these are edible too. @karenann Thank you Karenann! And you do too!!
Thanks Kimmi!

@shanne Thank you Shanne!
Although the color version separated the leaf and ground better, I just liked how the b/w version brought out the individual leaves.
@dmariewms Thanks Marie!
