@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @annaruth Thanks Anna! How are you doing? I've been praying for you! @zandme Thank you Tasha! @karenann Thank you Karenann! So, here is some good news for you- I took about a dozen shots of this little fellow this morning- and kept only one. And you're looking at it! Now, I know you will say 1 out of 12 is better than what I would do! But remember- it was 30 seconds- so there could have been a lot more that weren't kept as well!! See- you are just fine when it comes to shooting many and keeping few! @httpgeffed Thanks Colleen! I also bought a neat little green one, which I'm sure will serve as a subject in the future. @kandernob Thanks Karen! The morning light in my home is wonderful. It's the best time to shoot photos in my house. @summerfield Thanks Vikki! (see comment above concerning the lighting). I liked it too because it was just a little different- just like me!
@paulavdmerwe Thanks Paula! @allie912 Thanks Allison! The lighting in my house in the morning is great for b/w photos. It's really soft but fills the picture. I was about to run out for the day and thought, "I think I'll take 30 seconds and shoot that little bottle before I leave" and voila- here is the result.
@henrir Thanks Henri! @maggiemae Thanks Maggie! I bought it just because I knew it would take great photos. @pjonas Thanks Patty! @wenbow Thanks Wendy! @mrssmith Thanks Carla! @daveanajao Thanks Dave! Good to see you here again!! @tanja_1211 Thanks Tanja! I love the way the light comes in to my home in the morning. It's a great time to shoot things like this bottle.
nice shot. I can just imagine this little bottle holding some nice flowers or something like that. Did you have something in mind for it when you got it?
@bkbinthecity Thanks Brian- it's very tiny, but I think a clover or a violet might work! Yes, I bought it to take photos of! And also to put with my other glass pieces on my windowsill. It's only an inch or two high, so it will fit right in.
Thank you Elizabeth! Thank you Ana! And thank you Kathryn! I love the light in my home in the morning. It's very soft and the perfect tone for black and white. So, I decided to shoot the little bottle before I ran off for the day. When I saw the bottle back in July, I knew it'd be a great little subject for a photo shoot someday and that day finally arrived!
@ruthmouch Thank you Ruth! The sunlight comes into my home so beautifully in the morning. I had intended to head out for the day but thought "I think I'll do my 30 second shoot before I go" taking advantage of that beautiful lighting.
@mhatch Thanks Mark! @cimes1 Thanks Carole! @prttblues Thanks Bev! No processing other than the addition of the vignette (I'm using it on all the shots this week to somewhat tie them together). It's truly sooc as far as the lighting and comp. go. @juleswoome Thanks Julie! This is one of my favorite spots to photograph things in my house. @automaticslim It's really amazing what you can do in 30 seconds if you don't over-think what you're doing. So for this one, I chose the subject, chose the spot (cleared all the stuff of the counter- lol), put the bottle down and took shots, changing the position of the bottle every once in a while, or changing the nearness or space between the bottle and the camera- all the while counting 1 one hundred, 2 one hundred, 3 one hundred...so that I kept true to the 30 second aspect of the challenge.
