Used some processing magic to turn part of a sculpture from the Grounds for Sculpture in to a panic shot for today's Just 4 June word. I never knew there was an International Panic Day! The sculpture is a mixed media installation which incorporates a 3D version of Edvard Munch's famous painting "The Scream". If you'd like to see the whole thing, check out my alternative album "Themes and Competitions".
It must be day of Panic as you are the second person today showing Edvand Munch's "The Scream". There is a lego sculpture show (may be in NY) and one of them is "The Scream" made from Lego. Interesting processing.
I had a look at all of your wonderful pictures back to where I commented last. fantastic. love your Painting with Renoir pictures. wish I had more time when on vacation to add some comments, but then there'll be losts of time when we get home.
@yaorenliu Thank you Yao! That would be interesting- The Scream done in Legos. Somewhat hard to imagine! @bruni Thanks Bruni! Oh- don't worry about the comments. Enjoying your visit and taking lots of pictures of your adventures is way more important!! @gerry Thanks Gerry! The great thing about this place is that you can virtually walk right up to the sculptures and take pictures, so I was able to get in really tight on this one. @sangwann Thanks Dione! I've only had one panic attack in my life and that was enough. I really feel for people who deal with this on a regular basis. @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole! @digitalrn Thanks Rick! lol I don't really panic often- only had one panic attack in my life- but I certainly have "freak out" days when I'm stressed! @chrismarfil Thanks Chris! @mrssmith203 Thanks Carla! I know what you mean- when my world gets topsy-turvy I tend to do the same. But I've only had one real panic attack and they are very upsetting. I'm glad that I only had one, but I really feel for folks who deal with it on a regular basis. @traceyhn Thanks Tracey! @kerristephens Thanks Kerri! @stownsend Thanks Suzie! @michaelelliott Thanks Michael!
Very cool. It would seem that there is an International Day for just about everything these days. Not sure if a Panic Day is something to celebrate or not but this certainly fits it
Nice shot, Ann! Love the processing. Great choice too for panic day. I didn't know there was a day for it either... I forgot to panic! Oh well. I usually panic every other day so I guess I stored it up... Great job on this one! :)
@bkbinthecity Thank you Brian! lol yes, I guess that is true! @prttblues Thanks Bev! I did not panic on International Panic Day either but I can't say I'm disappointed about that. @rufus2895 Thanks Rufus! @pflaume Thanks Lisa! I started out with a vague idea of what to do with this shot and ended up going in a much better direction which resulted in this. Actually the computer does all the manipulating but it's fun to "try this" and "try that" until it does something you like- unlike painting where you do it all yourself. @dakotaburns Thank you Donald!
