Equipoise

Equipoise: 1) equality in distribution, as of weight or emotional forces; equilibrium. 2) a counter poise; a counterbalance.

When I agreed to host this mad minute word Sunday, I had no idea I would be in Michigan, so I ended up pulling a picture from Friday to capture the essence of this word. I like the balance between the bricks and daisies in this shot and also in the distribution of the flowers. It's probably not the most inspired of pictures, but it does have a nice feel to it imho!

Why Joy in June too? Because I do enjoy all the challenges 365 brings my way. It feels good to fire up the brain cells and get creative!

oh, wow! look at that. it reminds me of my school room fifty-five years ago back in the old country. just outside the window the view was something similar to this, which was my teacher's front yard. fabulous!
