I was at a bit of a loss for today's Try 4 July word: music. Most of my music books are still buried in piles awaiting the completion of our home improvement projects. But I did have a few notes in my scrapbooking supplies so I pulled them out and played around with them in some of the new effects on Ribbet. I don't really remember what I did here, I just like the way it reminds me of those old fashioned things we called 45's!
@kerristephens Thanks Kerri! It's actually a color shot (of black and white things) beefed up with the extra black and white effect. @digitalrn Thanks Rick! I keep wondering if this is really just Jeff's way of making me get rid of stuff. By the time we move it back in, I won't need or want it anymore- haha!
Very cool shot, Ann! Love the abstract...and it would make a good ad for a 60's music dance or something. It does look like a 45 (which I still have a lot of BTW along with LPs)
@prttblues Thanks Bev! I still have my collection too. About 10 years ago a collector offered me $25 dollars for my 45 case. It was worth more than that- I knew he was trying to make a buck off me, so I said no thanks! Besides, if I sold it where would I put all my 45's? haha
really fun abstract! love the notes spewing all around in a shattered layout. i have taken a week going through all my piles of music. SO much sorting to do, and it takes FOR-EVER!
@allie912 Thank you Allison! They were completely opposite, weren't they?! @taffy Thanks Taffy! The word comes from a list put together by @bulldog. He takes nominations each month and then compiles a list. You never know what's going to be on there, but you can be sure it will keep your creative juices flowing.
