One of my favorite shots from Bev's Mountain- the weathered side of an old barn. I loved the old paint on the side of the barn and the pattern made by the missing slats in the window.
what i find fascinating is the capture of the interior's lines and textures and just makes the overall picture so rustic. why can't i find anything like this around here? ah, yes, there's lots, but my director is always yelling "quick! let's go!"
@cimes1 Thank you Carole! @moreyoulessme Thank you Jerri! @summerfield Thank you Vikki- and thank you so much for the fav! When it was just Debbie and I, I did feel pressure to take things quickly although Debbie was not saying anything like "Mr. Hurry Up". But when Bev was showing us around and taking shots alongside me, Debbie was out numbered and graciously enjoyed watching the 365 antics of Bev and I! @ianrm Thank you Ian! They do have the ability to captivate, don't they? @wordsmith Thank you Teresa @bearfamma Thank you Carlie! @salza Thank you Sally, and thank you so much for the fav! @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian! @taffy Thank you Taffy! @kendra8 Thank you Judy! I'd be honored to be your inspiration! @tuya Thank you Claire! @dakotaburns Thank you Donald! @httpgeffed Thank you Colleen! The whole barn was interesting- will probably post that some day too. @digitalrn Thank you Rick! Well, I guess we called that one wrong- it was gorgeous today. But in the long run, I appreciated the ability to take it easy this morning! @allie912 Thank you Allison! @eudora Thank you Diane! It was a picture waiting to happen. Thank you so much for the fav!
Wow!! You captured this nice, Ann! This is that massive barn that I stopped in the road for, right? The one I took a b&w of last year I think. I love the rusticness of it and the way that the window has no glass and the paint is peeling. It gives it texture and a really old Vermont feel to it. Well done! :) ... (sorry I'm late in commenting! I have been recovering and heating and am almost back to my regular pain!)
@prttblues Thanks Bev- yes, it was the one, well, I'll be posting the whole thing at some point because I like the way that shot came out too! Don't feel bad about the commenting. I'm just sorry you did such a great job showing us around and then were in pain for doing it.
@vesna0210 Thank you Vesna! @cabinfest Oh my- it looks like you were there before I was- the window panes are still in tact on your shot. Kindred spirits!
@moreyoulessme Thank you Jerri!
