I saw this leaf stuck in the wire chair as I was bringing wood in the house today and immediately thought of the word "captured". It's really stuck in there.
so much contrast, brilliant color with the colorless background, wild and soft and natural with hard and man made and unyielding. Very good, capture here
wow! i am amazed that you actually restrained from processing this one. would've made a wonderful abstract! but the colours are beautiful the way they are, aren't they? the poor thing's not going to get off there unless you remove it or there's a really strong wind. nice find, ann.
@pandorasecho Thank you Dixie! It was just begging for a picture. @summerfield Thank you Vikki! Well, I did process it a little bit. I put a soft focus on it as well as a focal black and white. But because of the chair it looks very natural as if I had a fancy camera where you could go that way with the shot depending on the lens you'd use.
Thank you everyone! Wow- I did not expect such a great response as I really took the shot "at the last moment"! So glad you enjoyed it and saw much more than a leaf stuck in a chair.
uh oh....I thought YOU were the one going for a theme....I hardly have time to shoot themes...so I have no idea...just thought when you mentioned your word captured...that was the word.
