One thing that both amused and delighted me during our holiday visit was my grandson Sam's fascination with my dollhouse. I'd restored it for Leigh to play with but it was Sam who spent time rearranging the furniture, opening and closing the doors, pretending there were stairs to go up and down and making up stories about the dolls who lived there. I took this shot with my camera poking through one of the dollhouse windows. Sam has a very sweet, sensitive side like his daddy and it was really evident in the way he took care of the dollhouse and its contents.
