One Origami Crane by olivetreeann

One Origami Crane

Dear Mrs. Smith,

I am sorry that I was unable to turn in my assignment on the due date of April 25. I did have my photo taken and processed and ready to post, but my computer decided that it would like to entertain some malware and it was infected with all kinds of pop up ads that would not allow me to post my picture on 365. I hope this will not affect my grade as it has taken me 3 days to clear everything out and reinstall all my pictures back in my computer. I also have all new security measures on my computer so that it will not happen again. Thank you for understanding and I hope you like my picture!

Sincerely, Ann LeFevre

Our assignment was to make one origami crane and photograph it out and about spreading peace and good will. My crane helped me spread the new much in my flower gardens on this day.

What I learned from this assignment:
1) I am absolutely hopeless when it comes to making origami cranes. This looks more like a swan to me than a crane- but it's not even a good-looking swan!
2) Nasty people create malware.
3) Nice people help you get rid of it and make sure it won't come back.
Awesome shot

the dog ate my homework. or my pencil broke. my favourite when I was a kid was "my sister was sick and i had to take care of her". :-D

i wouldn't know origami from adam so i can't critique the origami. but the lighting here is well used and of course i'm an AHL fan so i like it.

Nice shot, Ann! I think you did a great job! I can't even make an origami crane or any other animal for that matter! I hope that you got not just a good Anti-Virus program but that you got Malwarebytes (which catches what AV's miss). It's a free program but you can purchase a pro version for a one time fee. It doesn't conflict with AV programs or any other malware detection programs. I'm glad that you got it fixed! And I hope that this assignment passed muster and that you didn't get marked for it being late!

I love it! It's a beautiful and fitting picture. A+

I'm sorry I'm just now looking at it. My days are long and nights are short.

@summerfield Thank you Vikki! LOL you should have seen me trying to follow the tutorial on Youtube! I kept yelling at the anonymous hands that they were going too fast and would a voice please tell me what to do! This poor thing looks like it had a beak job that went very bad!

@prttblues Thank you Bev! As you can see Mrs. Smith is a VERY NICE teacher!! Yes, I'm all protected now (until someone figures out how to get through all the security stuff!) but I will mention that to the fellow who works on our computers when I talk to him next.

@mrssmith203 Thank you Carla! You are very generous! Please don't feel bad about seeing this at this time- I know you've had an extremely demanding year. I'm sure you're counting the days until summer break. You should plan a trip to the Poconos this year! (o: There are plenty of covered bridges in PA- and lots of barns too!
