Turn, Turn, Turn

The woods behind my house have officially begun to turn colors. I love looking out my kitchen window and noticing how much has changed overnight. Although I'm not looking forward to the cold, the days getting there promise to be spectacular this year.

I DO look forward to the cold but we do NOT have the long, super harsh winter you have. We are still getting to 84 each day and we are tired if being hot! I do miss my bugs and spiders but then it is all that more glorious when they return in spring. This fall foliage shot is very pretty!

Nice shot, Ann. That red is stunning. I love the different colors on just that one leaf. I'm dreading the cold. But I am loving the hues, too. I plan on going up to my mountain tomorrow as it will be sunny and the leaves should be changing now.
