Lady in Red by olivetreeann

Lady in Red

It was a gray, slushy, snowy, rainy, wintery cold day. But there was a great deal of activity at the bird feeder and I finally got a Cardinal shot!
Love the red accent to enliven this image.

Bev
Isn't she just gorgeous!?!?!? Great catch, Ann! They are more difficult to get on camera then the males but I think it's because they blend with the background. She's very pretty!

These little birds must really appreciate these feeders in such weather. In our heat it's water that's the draw card.

Great shot. Looks like he's filling up for a whole week.

the title makes me react: she's got too much makeup on.

The female cardinal most definitely is right up there as a favorite bird. I love the taupe colors mixed with a touch of red, and she always looks so sweet and gentle. Beautiful capture

Thank you Bev, Annie, Alia, Lynn, Margaret, Joyce, Nicole, Vic, Dione, Francoise, Carole, Cindy, Margaret, Katie, Colleen, Lynn, Linda, Bill, Paula, Carla, Daisy, and Sam!!

So glad you enjoyed my shot of Mrs. Cardinal. They are very shy (both male and female) and I hold my breath every time I go to the window to watch them. The slightest movement and they're gone!
