September 1- Rainy

It's September! And we're starting it off with Hurricane Ida rain, and rain, and rain! Piggy and her new friend Ducky are not bothered by the water at all. Lucy grabbed Ducky from an arcade game just for Piggy when she came to visit us this summer. You'll be seeing more of these two this month as we work through the September words.

Thanks to one and all for the happy greetings to Piggy and her new friend. All we received from Ida was a tremendous amount of rain. There was some flooding in our area but we were not affected by it. We live on the top of a mountain so everything here is nice and dry. I do wish I could send some or our extra rain to places that need it though.
