Mourning Cloak Butterfly

This fellow was easy to follow but not so easy to photograph. He didn't want to lower his wings and was far more interested in checking out the lilac flowers than posing for me! But I still like the way this one turned out.

@grammyn Thanks Katy! That's why I love auto focus. One quick push, the camera gets it right, and I take the shot. It doesn't work for everything, but it comes in handy with a subject like this.
