Leigh Makes a Necklace

My granddaughter Leigh is proving to be very artistic. She loves to draw, paint and design things. Here she is putting together a necklace from a kit she received for Christmas. As you can she, she likes to model her handiwork as well!

@anazad511 Thanks Ana! Yes, I do. I often buy her artistic gifts rather than toys. She'd rather be drawing than playing dolls, so it makes sense to do that!

@edie Thanks Edie! Toys can be creative too. I loved my doll house and spent hours making up stories in it. I also liked to draw too. It depends on the child- but whatever is interesting to them, I am all for simplified things that make them use their imagination rather than filling in all the blanks for them.
