Thank you one and all. We're back from a great visit with the family and it's going to take me all week to get caught up with you so I beg your patience with me! However, I know you're all anxious to find out what was the source of this picture, so without further ado, the answer shall be revealed! It's Donald's dream!! No, actually if you guessed oil and water or bubbles, you'd be correct because it's both! Sorry to those who guessed petri dish-although those guesses did give me a chuckle or two (if you only knew how much that aspect of biology grossed me out in HS- second only to dissecting a frog- which I refused to do with my bare hands and had Mom buy me surgical gloves!) I digress! I noticed that when I was boiling the water for some pasta the other night, the olive oil in the water clustered like those amazing oil and water shots everyone seems to be doing lately, so I grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots. After uploading the picture, it did not have the same appeal as when the bubbles were forming in the bottom of the pot and the oil was floating around the top, so I cropped some, tweaked some and eventually ended up inverting the thing altogether. So now I can say I did one of those oil an water shots- and it doesn't look like anyone else's!
Thank you Kerri, Ana, Vikki, Maggie, Colleen, Nichole, Sally, Jennifer, Carole, Pinar, Dione, Donald, Carla, Phil, Rick, Laraine, Terry, Vickie, Bev and Alia!!!!!!!!!!
