@homeschoolmom Thanks Lisa! This is a really good exercise to strengthen your observation skills. The tricky part is taking at least 10 minutes BEFORE you press the shutter! But it really helps you to plan your shots first and gives you a higher success rate of good shots as well.
the patterson book is so amazing. when i went with northy and christine last saturday to hamilton, surprisingly i only took about 400+ shots. we went around before 2 in the afternoon and we finished around 11:30 just before midnight. 400 only? was partner's question. before patterson, more than a thousand shots would be considered a puny number.
@summerfield Thanks Vikki! I know- before Patterson I probably would have taken 50 to 70 shots there- just popping off the shutter on anything my eyes landed on. But sitting there and really looking first made such a difference! If memory serves me correctly I only took 25 shots. And good for you on the 400- I might not have been as reserved on those old cars! @vesna0210 Thank you Vesna!
