Little Goat

A photo club friend and I went out on a photo shoot today. Our first stop was one of the Farmer's Market farms. This little fellow and some others are raised for their milk which is used to make a number of products such as soap and hand cream. He was such a snuggler it was hard to get his picture! He was more interested in a little back scratch than posing! I think I'm remembering correctly that his breed name is Nigerian Goat. Although they are used to a much warmer climate, they've adapted really well to the temperatures up here in the Northern Hemisphere.

I absolutely love goats. We used to have one once but she was a bit of a nuisance as she used to try to eat the washing off the clothesline.
