Emphasis on shape and positive/negative space, mostly monochromtic and strong compositions to emphasize all of the above is what stuck in my brain when I was looking at Morandi's work. This is not exactly what I was going for- I wanted to mimic his strong, heavy brush-strokes more but it's close enough. I still have one more to post- but it's more my twist than his, so it can wait until tomorrow (which is after the deadline).
