I'm finally getting around to processing the pictures from my trip to Batavia. Leigh and I went downtown to photograph some murals and other urban sights. One building completely fascinated me as every side of it was covered in a mural! This was one side.
Thank you so much for your views, comments and favs! I should have mentioned the vines are real. They grow over a number of the buildings in this courtyard blending in with the murals so that at first you don't realize they're the real thing!
@mistyortegs I don't think they're too old- maybe 5 to 10 years?? If they are older than that they've been touched up on a regular basis. But I'd say about 5 years old. However, the buildings are much older than that- at least 60 to 70 years or more. They started out as manufacturing buildings but have been repurposed for a number of things- a restaurant, an antique shop, a toy store, bike shop and some other retail type businesses.
Thank you Denise! And thank you for the fav!
Thanks Joan! And thanks so much for the fav!
